Do you give a DUCK about democracy?

Join the Rubber Ducky Revolution

What is the Rubber Ducky Revolution all about?

Protecting the American democracy that is being threatened, uniting under the freedoms of our democracy, and giving visibility to the power of democracy at the heart of this lighthearted, non-violent, nation-wide movement.

We all swim in one pond, so regardless if your state is red or blue, anyone and everyone who is concerned about the state of our democracy is welcome to join the Rubber Ducky Revolution!

There are 3 ways to join

1. Ducky Tracker

Get the Big Ducky to all 50 states before DDay and track its progress

The Big Ducky will start in VT and we all need to work together to get it to all 50 states before DDay in July. Don’t worry, the tracker will only send and share town level data to be tracked, not exact GPS location or addresses.

Updates will be posted on this page and a link to watch the tracker will be posted soon when the Big Ducky is ready to leave VT!!

2. Personal Ducky

Personalize your own Ducky and bring it to join others on DDay

Duckies come in a variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and identities- just like each of us. Choose, make, or decorate a personal ducky that represents your uniqueness!

On DDay, bring your ducky to your State Capitol and place your ducky with all the others on the State House steps (or any significant city or town location where others are gathering that day). We will create a big flock of folks across the country who give a duck about democracy.

3. Make a Splash

There are undoubtedly issues and causes that you and your communities, friend groups, or organizations are particularly concerned about being threatened or targeted.

This is a way for you to organize a visual representation of a statistic that illustrates how threats to your cause would impact others using duckies as mathematical representations. For example, if Medicaid were cut, this many people in my state would be affected. Or, this many families in our state rely on HeadStart to access quality Early Childhood Education and workforce development.

Use duckies to visualize a cause you care about

These ducky data visualizations can be set up on DDay anywhere! (They can join the big flock on the State House Steps or they can be set up in any public area in your community where you think people should see it to make a splash about your cause.)
